I've been showered with compliments whenever I wear it, which is always a nice bonus!Just a heads up, though—this sweater is a very sheer, so it’s not the best for those chilly days. It's really more about making a fashion statement, which is great for those in-between seasons or when you want to layer it over a cute bralette or tank top. It really adds some fun flair to your wardrobe!Oh, and one last thing about caring for it: be careful not to hang it to dry! I learned that the hard way, and it can end up stretching. Instead, just lay it flat to keep its shape looking fab.This is definitely a great addition to any outfit. Even though it’s lightweight and not exactly warm, that’s what makes it so charming for showing off your style. 25-12-2024This was a very cute sweater in theory and resembled a sweater I loved 10 years ago which is why I purchased it! BUT it had some notable things that I disliked and will probably return it because I can't get over it. Some of this can be fixed probably by downsizing but the part that bothers me most cannot.So for things I loved was the color and how SUPER soft it was!! Not itchy at all despite my usual sensitivity to wool but keep in mind it is only 11% wool. This is a great sweater for spring entering summer or if you don't have cold falls. Probably would look best partially stuffed into a skirt, over a pair of leggings, and far away from anything with zippers.So the things I hate and can't get over is that there is no defined hem for the collar, sleeves, or bottom of the sweater to hold onto my body. There being no hold and the lack of structure makes me feel like I'm wearing a very soft and drafty poncho. I'm afraid that even attempting to wash this sweater by hand will end in it stretching in odd ways and becoming deformed after 1-2 washes and if not dried properly. Another thing to note is that I usually love when sweaters extend about an inch or so past my finger tips but this was a good 3+ inches which is not great for a holey sweater since your fingers will accidentally poke through when trying to reemerge or worse get stuck on a ring or jagged nail.I do think that some people will love this sweater but it is certainly an article of clothing that you will need to really baby when washing and drying. Also maybe downsize if you don't want it to be quite as frompy! I went with my usual size and it was HUGE so keep that in mind.Overall, cute sweater but not for me. I hope that people who purchase it loves it more than I could.
